I love this project! The painting and waxing technique for this distressed wood sign is so simple. I’m really excited to share it with you.

I love your sign and the step by step video was just what I needed. I’ve always wondered about the antiquing wax and I can’t wait to get started on a sign. I just looked at that Waverly chalkboard paint to redo bins for my daughters room.

I was reading your daughter, Ashten’s, wonderful blog and it stopped. It re-directed to another web site, but then said it was gone. Can you tell us the rest of Ashten’s story? I pray that the Lord has brought wonderful blessing into her life.

Bev- I’m so sorry that link isn’t working! She has continued writing her story but only on certain occasions. I’m following up with her on This Constant Hope. Hers is a beautiful story of perseverance and faith. I can tell you God has been good to her. She has been married a year as of December 17. She and her new husband have built a beautiful home and are thriving. I’ll let you know when I find out what happened the other blog spot. Thank you so much for taking time to read her story and to visit Under a Texas Sky. Blessings! Kelly
