Here’s how things were before decor
Before we moved one stick of furniture into the house, we had engineered hardwood flooring installed. Our builder was gracious enough to let us arrange our own flooring for the house. We had them hold off on installing carpet downstairs so our flooring guys had a clean slate on which to work. We went with a hickory stained 4″ plank. We also took down the chandelier that was handing in the dome and replaced it with an awesome faux antler chandelier we purchased from Pottery Barn. It really added to the rustic decor we were going for.
