It’s time to party!
What a week it’s been! We were minus contractors this week and so renovation was at a minimum. Our cabinets are being built and we expect to start seeing some more action the week of the 23rd. I’m so ready! Our next focus is going to be cleaning the exterior of the house. I’ll have a post showing how that goes.
I’m learning so much about the issues you encounter when taking on such a monumental project. Renovating a 117 year old house isn’t for everyone- you better get tough if it’s something you’re considering. It’s a bear! And without exception- houses that are over 100 years old are going to need some mending. If you take it on- try to make time to hang out on your front porch for a minute to gather yourself and to remember how blessed you are.
Now let’s get to our party! Y’all are killing me with all of the delicious recipes each week. I miss my kitchen!! I cannot wait to try some things out. My feature for this week is very timely for us. We just had a garage delivered. It’s basically a shed with a garage door, window, and walk in door. If you’re adding a shed to your property- here’s a super helpful tutorial: How to Build Simple Ramps & Steps for Your Backyard Shed from Just Measuring Up.
I can’t wait to see what y’all share this week!
