It’s party time y’all!

It’s always a great time to party. I’m about ready to share a post on our finished kitchen! Yes, FINISHED kitchen. I’ve actually cooked a couple of meals this week; including these delicious lemon herb chicken skewers. I’ll share that recipe next week.

They were delicious, even thought I wound up taking the veggies and chicken off the skewers and just grilling them straight on the grill. Super yummy!

But let’s get to this week’s feature pick. I just love this Patriotic Inspired Mantel from Penny’s Vintage Home. Penny’s style is beautifully soft and romantic and she superbly incorporates this look into a gorgeous mantel that is American as apple pie. She proves that whatever your style, you can modify it to meet any holiday or season seamlessly. Just lovely.

Hi Ladies! I hope you are all having a good week. Here’s the html for this week’s party. Please check it over before publishing.

On another note, Maisy will be leaving us at the end of July. I have always loved her unique blog recipes and have enjoyed having her as a hostess. She will definitely be missed. In the next week few weeks I will be working to find a new hostess to fill her spot and possibly an additional hostess or two. I will likely attach a sign up form in next week’s party post, but if you happen to know anyone who is interested in being a linky party host, please feel free to have them contact me or forward their site name and contact info to me, and I’ll be in touch. THANK YOU!
