Happy Friday, y’all! Today is a special day for me. It’s my 33rd wedding anniversary. The Mean Man and I married when we were just kids. We didn’t have two dimes to rub together, but it was a different time then and people just let love decide their paths. That’s pretty much what we did.  A lifetime of highs and lows have accompanied us and I’m so happy to say it’s better today than it’s ever been. If you’re early in your marriage and experiencing struggles… just hold on to Jesus and each other and you’ll make it. 

Now let’s get to our feature this week. I love this post on How to Make Personalized Faux Birch Candles from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S. This is such an easy and cute project. Almost everyone has these types of pillar candles and this is an easy way to add a little bit of rustic flair. This birch look is awesome for country or farmhouse decor.
