How can it be Friday again?? And the last Friday of August at that? We’re getting to my favorite time of the year and leaving the worst month of the year. Seriously, August- it’s the number one worst month. There are no holidays, it’s scorching hot, and the days drag by. But, oh, September brings Labor Day, college football, and that bit of cooler weather (at least in the evenings). It’s the beginning of all the best months. 

The last Friday of the month is a perfect time for our Friday Favorites. It’s your one-stop-shop for everything home. Let’s see what’s up for this week!

Feature Pick

My feature pick from last week is Southern Pimento Cheese from The Short Order Cook. Maybe it’s my southern upbringing, but I LOVE pimento cheese. Whether you put it on a cracker, add it to a BLT, or slap it in some scrambled eggs, it’s always delicious. I think I’ll try this for one of my game day snacks!
