It’s time for a Happy Halloween!
Decorating for Halloween is one of our favorite things each year. Our decorations border just on the edge of scary. Even the younger kids in our neighborhood love everything from the dragon to the ghost. They seem to understand we just want to entertain them and not freak them out.
We added lights and a cute new sign to our porch sign post. This has become the most versatile decor element we have at our disposal. A few modifications and it’s good for any season!
Inflatables made the decorating job fairly easy. Clearing out a spot in the landscaping is really the hardest part. We moved our glider to the opposite side of where it usually sits. Sitting a skeleton on that bench was such a fun thing. I love the little illuminated jack-o-lantern sitting next to him!
By far my favorite addition this year is the big, beautiful dragon. His glittery wings move back and forth and the fire churns in his belly. I saw him and had to have him.
We added lots of other smaller elements along with colored LED lights to shine on it all.
I hope that you have a safe and happy Halloween wherever you are.

Getting into the craft business. How do I figure how much to charge?

Bob- I really only ever sold wreaths, but I’d think you’d take your supplies plus time- and consider what others are getting for their creations. Unless you sell a lot of volume- it’s tough to make much money. Hope this helps.
