Friday is Party Day!

It’s been a great week- but HOT! We’re seeing record highs under my Texas sky; day after day of over 100 degree temps. I hope if it’s scorching where you are, you’re taking the necessary precautions to keep your cool! I have a couple of posts that give some tips for staying cool in these dangerously hot days.

Now, for my feature pick for this week. Actually Penny from Penny’s Passion and I both picked the same feature; Egg Salad Sandwich from Marilyn’s Treats. I cannot tell you the number of times that my cupboard was almost bare but I had some eggs (I generally buy my hard boiled eggs already hard boiled from the store. Don’t judge me) and have been able to whip up some egg salad. For me it’s almost like deviled eggs in a bowl. I love to throw some bacon on top of the egg salad to have a bacon and egg salad sammie. I also buy my bacon in pre-cooked packages from Sam’s. Twenty seconds in the microwave and BOOM. The delicious becomes delicious-er!
