You can make these cute and creepy Halloween wreaths!
So I know October is a couple of months away, but you really need to get your fall decor ideas squared away NOW, before it creeps up on you… because, you know, Halloween is “creepy.” (Ok, I’m not gonna quit my day job.) I’ve found some truly cute and creepy Halloween wreaths that I think you’d enjoy making. There are tutorials that I’ve done on most of these techniques so you have a guide to making some of them. What what makes this post even better, is that I’m sharing other amazing bloggers’ wreath tutorials as well. Now you have NO excuses to not create a cute and creepy Halloween wreath for your own front door.
Debra at My Humble Home and Garden has created a show stopper! I love the versatility of using a picture frame as a wreath base and she takes full advantage of the possibilities here!
Jill at Create Craft Love shows us how to make this Edgar Allan Poe inspired “Nevermore Wreath.” It’s creepy, but elegant as well.
Missy at Lookie What I Did gives a great example of how you can take a pre-decorated wreath and add your own touches to make it a one of a kind. I love the entire look of her front porch! Check it out!
Check out the tutorial that Kim at Made in a Day put together for a fantastic Creepy Skull Wreath. It’s so creative and pretty in a really creepy way. It looks much more elaborate than it actually is- it’s totally doable!
Now here’s a super cute wreath that was made by thinking a bit outside the box. Candace and Nicole at Crafty Sisters created this Witchy Wreath using a wreath form and socks! Check out how they came up with this whimsical little beauty.
Here are several examples that are homegrown!
I’m finishing up this post with a variety of Halloween wreaths that I’ve made. Check out my video tutorials page to find video tutorials for these wreath techniques (on different wreaths).
