Wow- my holiday vacation absolutely flew by! I can’t believe that it’s the last day. I’m still adjusting to being back at work. You really get used to having your own time to do your own thing over the course of several months. I’m looking forward to the new year, however. We have big plans for the house over the next several months, deck plans, pool plans, driveway plans, so may plans! Of course finishing the interior of the house is going to be addressed as well.
Hopefully by this time next year- we’ll have most of the major things done. But I understand that when you own a house that’s over 100 years old, you’re never really done. I hope your new year is filled with all good things and amazing experiences. Be sure to try something new; maybe something you’ll find here at our Friday Favorites.
My feature pick for this week is Sweet Onion Bacon Quiche from Hippy and a Redneck. I’ve never made a quiche before but this sounds so delicious. I’m always looking for recipes that I’ve never tried before. This is definitely going on my list!
