Kelly,
Thank you and the invite is always open! If you ever venture to Charleston, SC – for the holidays — please let me know! We are going to start saving the date for next year. — either the 1st or 2nd Sunday in December for Santa photos! I leave all my decorations up until the earliest – January 15th. I love to enjoy them – after the hustle and bustle — so it may be February 1st! LOL! Merry Christmas !

Anna-Marie- I love Charleston! My daughter and son-in-law lived there for three years in Hanahan (my son-in-law is a pilot in the Air Force) and we visited often. I love brunch at High Cotton! It sounds like your family is very blessed to have you in their lives. You obviously love them very much. I hope your holiday is absolutely amazing this year. Merry Christmas!!

Kelly,
I just came across your videos and website tonight. I can’t wait to try some of your ideas! I so love Christmas! My husband and I have 9 adult children and 6 grandchildren. For 33 years,, all I ask for Christmas is a family photo with Santa! As my children became young adults and teenagers, they suggested we get our own Santa to come to the house and take photos instead of taking them in the mall. So – the new tradition began—. I create a Christmas wonderland in our home — and add Christmas decorations each year! I have 22 trees this year- and my husband also built me a sleigh last year! We now also include other family and friends – and we have a Lowcountry Shrimp Boil!
It is definitely my most favorite family tradition!

Anna-Marie- What a wonderful tradition!! I love the idea of Santa at home. It sounds like your house is a child’s dream. I’m sure your grandchildren love visiting during the Christmas season. I can’t imagine how much work it must take to decorate all of those trees PLUS the house. It definitely sounds like y’all do it up right. I might just show up some year! 🙂 Have a most blessed Christmas season and thank you so much for stopping in to share. I love it. Blessings- Kelly

I live in a condo in British Columbia Canada. I would love to decorate a few trees, but there’s only room for one. I do make up wreaths for all my loved ones who have passed on and place them on their graves. My Mother died exactly a week before Christmas, so it’s a tough time to get through. Keeping up her tradition of making wreaths and placing them on our loved ones graves, keeps her close at heart.

Shelley- Oh my goodness, bless your heart. It’s so hard to face the holidays after the loss of a loved one. I think it’s wonderful that you’re keeping up her wreath tradition alive. It’s a lovely thing to do. I hope your Christmas season is filled with blessings! Kelly

I only decorate one tree. I do a Christmas village, though, which takes up too much space, lol.

Hi, Kelly! I found you on Youtube while looking for mesh wreath tutorials. You are a pleasure to watch! We will be putting up 2 trees in our house this year. One upstairs for the boys and one downstairs for the girls. We didn’t have Christmas last year so I want to make this year extra special! God bless 🙂

Teresa- I’m considering two trees as well. We have a large landing with a huge window at the foot of our first flight of stairs. I’m thinking maybe a pencil tree would work great there. Just gotta get The Mean Man on board! Thanks for stopping by and for leaving some love. Blessings- Kelly

My husband passed away last year so I didn’t put one up. Just wasn’t in the Christmas spirit. This year I will put 2 up for my 2 year old son.

Carrie- God love you. The loss of a spouse would be more hurt than I could imagine, except that I saw my daughter go through this five years ago. It’s wonderful that you’ve got your little baby boy to give you a reason to share the magic of Christmas. I pray that you will feel the presence and comfort of Christ this Christmas season especially. If you’d like to see a bit of my daughter’s journey, she has a blog called This Constant Hope. There is a section of “Inspiration.” I’ve linked “No Going Back” for you to read if you’d like. You can see how her journey progressed to where she is today; married and living her best life. She links her journey through Aaron’s disease- it’s painful to read, but when you’re ready, someday you might want to read the entries at Ashten Seay Blogspot. The underlying theme is that God’s grace will be enough, even though it seems impossible. I hope you find the absolute joy of Christmas this year and that you will find peace during the season. Blessings- Kelly
