Friday Favorites Linky Party- Week 425

Trust me, I NEED a party!

We’re in the last day of fourth week of renovation on the house. The kitchen floor is being grouted right now, and is really starting to take shape. The master bath vanity is purchased as well as the faucets for the sinks and bathtub. Good golly- the faucet for the clawfoot tub was crazy expensive! I’m going with a polished brass (not like the 1980s but like the 1910s. They are laying the master bathroom floor today as well as prepping the floor in the second guest bath on the second floor.

We’ve made some pretty cool discoveries along the way; our own hidden treasure trove. My nerves are shot, and there never seems to be enough hours in the day to accomplish all that we plan to. I’ve been a cranky ol’ biddy and need to get myself in check, always remembering the blessings.

But for now… let’s get to our party! My feature pick for this week is Frosted Lemonade from Delightful E Made. This sounds amazing; the perfect treat on these hot Texas summer days. It combines two of my favorite things- ice cream and lemon. I’m telling you, my kitchen is going to get such a work out (once I HAVE a kitchen)!
