Summer wreaths just make you happy!
Sunshine, flowers, flip flops, swimming pools, and beautiful summer wreaths for your front door… all summer MUSTS! Here are several styles of summer wreaths, any of which would make the perfect accent to your home.
Debbie at Confessions of a Plate Addict shows you how to make the perfect wreath for Memorial Day or 4th of July- or, heck, for ANYtime! This is such a fun wreath!
Yvonne at Stone Gable created an stylish grapevine wreath with lovely greenery and cute bow for her summertime front door. I’m loving the wreaths with last name initials; they make a nice statement for any door. This wreath has an understated elegance that I love.
Dawn at How Does She? created a wreath that just makes me long for an glass of ice cold fresh squeezed lemonade. This is an easy wreath to make and she gives great tutorial on just how to create it.
This is the PERFECT wreath for my front door. I’m an absolute baseball nut! This wreath screams SUMMER! Connie’s Designs captures the spirit of the game with her patriotic ribbons along with a cute “home” plate. I love it!
Ok, I’m sharing another one of Connie’s Designs. It’s just so SUMMER! I love the mason jar and the bright summer colors. This wreath makes me want to just hang out by the pool with some friends. Gorgeous!
How pretty is this wreath? Summer wreaths don’t have to all be whimsical- they can be romantic as well. Christy at Confessions of a Serial Do-It-Yourselfer created a darling summer wreath that reminds me of the cool breeze that comes across a southern porch in the heat of the season. And she did it for under $10!!
I’ve also included a few of the favorite wreaths from my collection. This grapevine wreath with hydrangeas and green bird is one of the favorites I’ve made. Again- this wreath, while, cute, it’s a little more toward the sophisticated side. It’s absolutely beautiful on the front door.
Here’s another grapevine wreath that totally works for summertime. I adore daisies and plaid- the combination just works. And you can never go wrong when you include the beautiful cross of Christ to gently remind us of His love for us.
This may be one of my all time favorite wreaths that I’ve made. I’m so in love with that turquoise color and the plaid sackcloth ribbon is truly my favorite accent ribbon. The sign says it all- “Happiness is a choice.” It reminds me that sometimes I have to fight though things and choose to be happy- even when things aren’t going perfectly.
I hope you’re inspired to try to make one of these wreath styles. You can find tutorials for all of these styles HERE.
