Let’s party!

I’m a happy Mimi this week. My daughter and her hubby went house shopping near San Antonio this week and after having found their new home, are back with us until after Thanksgiving. There’s nothing like the opportunity to be close to your grandkids- even if it’s for just a while. I can’t wait until they are 4 hours closer to us in the new year. That’s why I’m a little late on getting our Friday Favorites to you this week. But there’s no time like right now to get this party started!

My feature this week is “How I Overcame a DIY Fail and Learned to Fix It” from Repurpose and Upcycle. Lindsey shows us how to just go with the flow when things don’t go exactly as planned with our projects. This happens to me- a lot. I’m a master at winging it- and sometimes the results are spectacular and sometimes they’re only ok- either way, I try to learn from my mistakes and how to make them better. The biggest lesson- don’t sweat it.
